Guardiola over ‘incident’ met Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City plaatste zich ten koste van Real Madrid voor de finale van de Champions League. Tijdens de wedstrijd kreeg Kevin De Bruyne het aan de stok met trainer Pep Guardiola. De Spaanse oefenmeester van ‘The Citizens’ kwam terug op het ‘incident’.

“Shut up, shut up”, riep Kevin De Bruyne naar Pep Guardiola tijdens de match tegen Real Madrid. “Kevin liep twee- tot driemaal te snel diep. We versnelden het spel teveel, terwijl dat op dat moment niet gewenst was”, zei Guardiola na afloop.

“De reactie van Kevin, I love it, I like this energy”, besluit de Spanjaard.
