Droomdebuut voor Kos Karetsas bij Borussia Dortmund. Na negen minuten gaf hij een assist voor de 1-0 van Serhou Guirassy voor de 1-0. Dortmund won uiteindelijk met 2-0 tegen Hamburg.

Kos Karetsas werd na zijn debuut verkozen tot ‘Man van de Match’. Een droomdebuut voor de Griek bij zijn nieuwe club. Afgelopen zomer kocht Borussia Dortmund hem voor 30 miljoen euro weg bij KRC Genk.
